On June 8, 05, the family took a trip to Seattle Washington. It was the first time the family traveled such distance on Amtrak. The trip to Seattle from Hanford, CA was a an experience we would never want to repeat. The train was 12 hours late on the arrival which made us miss an entire day of activities. We visited Kent to search for home to buy. However, due to our bad experience with Amtrak, we were upgraded to a sleeper. We were able to enjoy the trip much better and it went much faster.
