For weeks we planned to visit Utah National Parks. However, since we just had a week of vacation we decided to visit two national parks West Utah: Zion and Bryce national parks. We decided to stay in Cedar City since it was between those parks. It was about 11 hours drive for us from Visalia, since we made numerous long stops.

After arriving to beautiful Cedar city we hurried to setup the tents in order to explore the area. After doing so, it began sprinkling as we began to depart the campground. As we left the campground behind the sprinkling rain transformed to a hard falling rain then hail. The little drops of hail began to grow and the wind greatly picked up. It was a hailstorm. We immediately turned back to check on the tent and the belonging inside. Luckily, the tent withstood the storm but the water leaked through the walls. We worried if it was going to happen again then we rented a cabin from KAO.
