The Parents
We have been married since 1993. God has blessed us with two
wonderful children,
Bassam and
Zayna. Darleen is a full time while I am full-time
instructor at
Highline Community College, Des Moines, WA, since September
2005. We love raising our kids and enjoy their presence. We love
to listen to classic music, travel, and collect movies.
Darleen comes from a wonderful family who most of them live
Arizona and California. She is a third generation Japanese. She
is interested in exploring different cultures, in particular
Native American. Darleen enjoys outdoors, music, reading,
cooking, and working in the yard. She also enjoys movies and
animals.
I am a first generation Lebanese who has been living in USA
since 1981. I enjoy education from all aspects. I received my
M.S. Degree in Master of Information Technology from
AIU and B.S. in Computer Information System from
Strayer University. I received my A.S. in Math/Science
degree from
College of the Sequoias. I attended
California State
University Fresno for two long years majoring in Math and
Computer Science, but unfortunately I could not complete my
degree.
I enjoy working with students and advise them academically; I
had done so for over 11 years. However, most of my enjoyment
comes from classrooms when I teach. I enjoy working and
developing databases and designing and building websites. I was
involved with
MESA for over 13 years as a Director and Facilitator. I have
taught computer information and technology system on part-time
bases at the
College of the Sequoias, Visalia, CA, and
National University, Fresno CA. However, I finally decided
to teach full-time and co-directing the
Tutoring Center at
Highline Community College,
Des Moines, WA.
